Not only is loneliness and isolation a huge problem, it has also been associated with health issues such as depression, sleep problems, hypertension, stress and mental health problems.<\/span>
\nAt PMSS we strongly believe that no one should feel loneliness or isolation, which is why we\u2019ve created our companionship care service.\u00a0One of our companionship care assistants can visit you or your loved one as often as is needed to offer support and add that all-important human element to your\/their day. A friendly face, or companion, to support with daily activities is often crucial to you or your loved one\u2019s happiness and wellbeing. Our companionship carers very often become good friends with our clients, someone they feel they can easily chat to and discuss and share things with, both when they are at home and out and about.<\/span><\/p>\n

We provide companions who will genuinely be able to share you or your loved one\u2019s interests, from sport and crossword puzzles to cookery, knitting, gardening and much more besides. We know that spending quality time with someone who understands you and is genuinely interested in your life, interests, hobbies and what\u2019s important to you is very important on many different levels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
